Map to Table

The Map to Table block converts a single table row or a map (object) into a table with one row.
When you add this block from the palette, input is bound to @parent.@data. Inside a repeater item, this is the data of the current row, so the block returns that row as a one-row table.
For information on using dataflow blocks, see Dataflow.
For answers to some common questions about working with tables, see Tables.
Input/Output Property
The following property of the Map to Table block can take input and give output.
- input
input receives the value to convert:
- A table row (for example a repeater item's
@data): The output is a table with the same columns as the source table and only this row. The row keeps its original row number. - A map: The output is a table with one column for each key in the map and one row that holds the values.
- A table: The table is returned unchanged.
For any other value, output is null.
Output Property
The following property of the Map to Table block can give output but cannot take input.
- output (table)
output returns the one-row table.
